Samsung has confirmed the Jelly Bean update is now available.

As you might have noticed, this hasn't gone live yet. We were expecting it to on Friday and are working with Samsung to figure out what went wrong and will update ASAP.

Hey Guys,

Good news! The wait time is almost over for Samsung Galaxy SIII users. From tomorrow, 19th October '12, you'll be be able to upgrade to the much awaited 4.1 Jelly Bean update over Wi-Fi or via Kies.

If you have activated the 'auto-update' feature from out of box, you will be prompted to download the 4.1 Jelly Bean update.

CSC is the code in the Firmware that the update process looks for to know when to push the update to which phones. O2U = O2 branded firmware.

I got Jelly Bean tonight via Kies.

About an 800 meg download I think, might have been a bit less.

Installed without any problems and my S3 is working as normal.

Make sure ur fone is fully charged

NEVER interrupt an update, WAIT until ur told it's finished

Yes, good advice.

Kies tell you to do this but people undating over the air might not get these instructions, I know I never have when I've had other updates.

I just did a check via About Phone and it came back..... Computer Says NO for ota update

Yeah I couldn't get it via my phone, that's why I tried Kies, when I clicked firmware update it was there, this was on 3, might be different on another provider.
