Hi,
First post on the forum. I've had a Galaxy S2 since Aug 2011 & to be honest have suffered from several strange issues that have come & gone in that time. Last week the phone would suddenly switch itself off & the only way to get it back on is to take out the batt, put it back in then it would come on but the previously fully charged batt would now be reading empty!, this issue is still happening.
Today, I switched my phone on and found that pop up boxes saying 'Social Hub has stopped unexpectedly', 'force close' were appearing, I then tried to send a txt message by pressing the messaging icon and was greeted with a blank screen and then the pop up message 'messaging has stopped unexpectedly' 'force close'. This has been happening all day so I cannot send or even access the txt messages!
I am now having to use an ancient Nokia to txt, what is going on with my Galaxy S2?, any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Thanks,
Was trying to avoid the factory reset but was forced to do it in the end, it has solved the force close app issues but the issue of the phone switching off randomly, having to pull out the batt, put it back in & then finding the charge has dramatically dropped is still happening.
To be honest my experience of the Galaxy S2 has been poor with lots of irritating bugs & issues, is it the phone or the Android operating system that is at fault?
