STATUS Permanently Failed

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a Moto G3 and until today I've been able to send SMS to any 'phone.

Today I get the response "***STATUS*** Permanently Failed" if I try to SMS an iPhone user. SMS to other androis devices are still OK.

This is new today.

I have deleted message threads, cleared the cache and rebooted the 'phone. It still fails.

Got the same problem this afternoon. Doesn't seem to be related to other networks or devices.

With so many people having a problem it could be a network fault unless you all live in the same area.

To the person only having a text problem to one contact, that contact needs to open the message settings and check their blocked numbers.

I had that problem yesterday. Turned out there was an issue with the mast or something. Though my message kept being replied to saying it had permanently failed. It also was received from the number I was sending it to. Thought my mate was on the wind up at first
