Hi, in July I took out a 02 refresh contract on a s20 5g. It has been perfect up until last night. I plugged the charger in and it never started charging. I've tried about 3 chargers and nothing happened. I wireless charged overnight but of course this way slow. This morning I tried my charger again, it is charging for a about 30 seconds then stopping.

Any idea what this could be? I'm up to date with software, the USB is clean. Will it be covered by warranty?

Not happy at all, and cannot get through to anyone at 02

As long as it's not damaged it should be covered by warranty.

I'd talk to Samsung directly https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hello @Chan2

Have you tried using another Samsung Official Genuine Charger?

If your still having the issues you could you can contact Samsung about a repair. Go here to contact them here - https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

However if you have a Cracked Display or broken back they will say the Warranty will be voided.  As I've seen posts about it people having to pay to have the screen fixed before they started fixing the issue that it was reported.

I meant if there was any internal damage to the charging port.

Still Samsung is the best place to go for help, advice and any required repairs.
