Hi I have an S10 which I have purchased locked to EE.
I have an O2 sim. I am waiting for an unlock code for my EE S10 then hope to use it.
I am wondering whether my s10 will have 02 features like wifi calling etc considering that it is running EE firmware.
Am I likely to be at any disadvantage running EE firware with my o2 sim?
Many thanks

Wifi calling should work OK.
There's no requirement for O2 firmware on that phone.

Hey @George121212 , further to the above advice on the wifi calling (thanks @MI5 !) , I just wanted to quickly check in on you regarding the unlocking that you mentioned you were waiting for. Did everything turn out ok with that? Let us know if you need any further help.

Hi there Marjo, thank you for the kind message.
I actually got around to unlocking my phone today.
So the phone works fine and wifi calling works brilliant.
One slight annoyance is that I have lost my visual voicemail which works when I put my sim into my old phone? any ideas. Everytime I restart I have an annoying voicemail notification, even though I dont have any voicemail.
Would be great to hear your thoughts?
thanks

You need to leave yourself a voicemail and then listen to it and delete it.
That should clear all notifications.
VVM may take a couple of days to set up on the system.
