Is anyone else having trouble with RCS connecting with Google Messages?
I've had no problems with it since I joined O2, but now it is stuck connecting.
I've tried with WiFi and 5G but no luck so far.

It is a known bug in the Messages App...

Unfortunately you can temporarily fix the problem by doing what Google suggests but very quickly it comes back again. I've given up unfortunately as far better things to do than try to fix O2 and Google's obviously flawed implementation 😔
