o2 havent locked devices for the good 4 or 5 years. 

 

But if it is older than that then look here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card 

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
