Fill in the registration form and create password. Seem to have connected and phone says I have excellent connection.

No sites can be accessed though! Help please

Do you mean the form here?

https://www.o2wifi.co.uk/my

Are these O2 hotspots you're trying to connect with?

The O2 ones are listed on that link.

Thanks for your reply.

No, it isn't particularly an O2 site that is the problem, it's all external sites such as shopping centres and hotels.

Wondered if there is some setting on my phone that is blocking the site as I am getting good reception according to my phone.

You don't have to sign in to O2 Hotspots, any others may not be included and some may even be chargeable or private.

Check the lists in my link above.

In some places where it is private you will need to ask the location for their password in order to join.

Pretty sure he's not on about free o2 wifi hot spots that you get in mucky d's, harvester etc. Private ones provided by businesses themselves tend to get a little oversubscribed. Spent a week in west wales, no mobile data available, only wifi was in the holiday parks clubhouse. Next to impossible to connect to half the time. Painful week for a technology freak.
