Considering paying off the rest of my device plan and just buying a OnePlusOne.

Will O2's 4G frequency work with the OnePlusOne?

Yeah you need an invitation to buy one in the first place, but once an owner you can invite others.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Anonymous  I have checked that link...Unless I am mistaken the 'small print' infers its NOT the phone you are buying for a tenner..... its the Invite?

"You are not bidding on an actual phone, but are only bidding for an invite code that give you the right to buy a OnePlus One 64 GB Sandstone Black from http://oneplus.net These invite codes are very hard to come by. Make sure you pay quickly after the auction has ended, so you can receive your invite code right away and claim it so you can buy a OnePlus One from http://oneplus.net before the invite code expires".

Correct - That was what we were talking about.

The invites are (were) difficult to get hold of......

As usual you are correct Evil (I thought Phills comment was referring to the phone itself)

Anyway... moving on as I am on a learning curve today...WHY do you need an invite to buy the phone??

Rather silly then...makes it hard to buy...and loses a hell of a lot of customers I would think...?

"It don't impress me much".... wink
