OPPO Find X5 Lite phone not sending photos with texts.

I cannot seem to send a photo with an text message. This has been happening for some time. Is it something like I may have to join WhatsApp, which I don't really wish to do.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I remember using WordPerfect, Lotus Smart Suite, SuperCalc, Netscape Navigator and many other programs that were ubiquitous before Microsoft ruled the world.

If you don't want to send pictures via Whatsapp, you can do it via FB Messenger. (as long as the person you are sending the picture to also has Messenger.)

I have a close member of my family and a new good friend who use Messenger

I don't send many photos

I only really want to use Facebook and no other social media sites.

Well ..... rang CS and didn't get past the Automated 'female' voice 'robot' ..... It decided I was calling about my bills ..... = ...... BAH HUMBUG ! ......... I closed the call as my blood pressure was rising 😞
