@Anonymous it will be interesting to see other pricing especially through cpw or giffgaff who i understand both issue sim free.

Given i could get £175 or so back for my old S4 yes i could be persuaded although i would like to see the price for the Edge

I have looked on EE Voda CPW and Phones 4U but no pricing elsewhere.

I wonder if o2 have done a deal to shift volume as they are behind Apple who appear to have stolen a march on release dates.
