Hi all. Travelling in Ireland at the minute and 02 Ireland isn't showing up in my list of available networks. Other people in the party all have 02 Ireland as an option but my s7 edge isn't showing it as an option. Any ideas as I am relying on free WiFi spots to check my business emails and messages.

Choose one of the other networks you get from a manual search.
You don't have to connect to any one network in particular.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It's probably nothing to do with whichever network you connect to it's just that o2 data is heavily throttled when roaming.
Three bought out o2 in Ireland anyway so I wasn't even aware that o2 still had any network over there at all.

Try removing and cleaning the sim card and rebooting or force it onto a network that's not allowed.

Still shows up on some of the phones here as 02 Ireland. My partner has a note 3 and it signs on straight away to 02 Ireland. Curiously 3 shows up twice in the list and it will only join one of them. I did receive a text from O2 Ireland about welcome to Ireland and roaming charges etc

Strange that but do a speedtest and see if you can get better than around 0.3mbps?

Thanks but it's not an issue with data speeds. It's not being able to find the O2 Ireland network at all even for call coverage. It is not showing up in my list of available networks at all.
