I'm not sure what bands O2 use for 4G.
Since the Nexus 5 was just released I wondered if it'll work or not?
Anandtech quote:
(D821) Rest of World: GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8
LTE: Bands: 1/3/5/7/8/20

Hi @teledude.
Can you explain why this is the case? I just purchased a Nexus 5 from CPW and upgraded my o2 network to 4G. I still have the same issue where I only get HSPDA and not 4G. Did you manage to fix this or find a work-around?
Thanks.

Check in your "MyO2" to make sure you have an active 4G bolt on.
Check on the phone in network settings that you have enabled 4G option.
Check you are in a 4G enabled area.
Check for any local reported issues http://status.o2.co.uk/
If less than 24 hours since starting contract wait for full 24 hours.
If nothing else works call 202 and get them to check your account is set up OK.
