Nexus 5 O2 SMS text message settings
Dialing *#*#4636#*#* brings up a troubleshooting/statistics menu page. Dial that and select Phone information and at the bottom you can enter the SMSC (Short Mail Service Center) number.
Message service centre settings

  • +447802000332 for Pay Monthly, or
  • +447802092035 for Pay & Go

Remember to check that the message centre number starts with +44 and not 0044

International settings
Make sure that International barring has been removed from your phone, then just follow these steps:

The sms centre number is read off the sim. Contract & PAYG sims are different. Do you have the correct sim for your account type?
