Hi i have just received my sim and want to know will I lose all my wats app messages and normal text messages if I put it in and activate it - I have supplied you with my pac code but been advised this can tak a day to do after I've activated the new sim card with the new nmbr

You shouldn't lose anything but to be sure, make sure you backup your messages and whatsapp to google

@Lindylou1 WhatsApp now allows you to back up and restore cross platform, so as long as you do a backup on your original device they can be downloaded on a new one. If there is no new device and you're just swapping SIM cards then everything should remain as is on the device (no data for messages is stores on the SIM these days)
