I can text again now so thank you. The data clear out must of wiped it. I'll ring O2 in the morning to see if there is some way to get my photos back and I won't be doing it again.thank you.

Who on earth told you to reset the phone !!!! You should have just been clearing the cache. Unfortunately due to this poor advice you have now probably lost your photos forever. Your only chance is to try and run "Recuva" (Google for the programme) and hope for the best. You SMS issue is most likely due to your message centre number been either missing or incorrect. Are you contract or PAYG ?

No I am on contract. I rang O2 because the internal memory on this phone is Pathetic so she told me to clear all the data to free up memory which I did and now have lost my photos

Check this is the message centre number in your Message service centre settings

For future reference "clear all data" means deleting everything off your phone. You were given very poor advice I'm afraid..... 😞

Did you by any chance back up your phone to Kies or Google before you wiped the data?

It would be a miracle if O2 could do that, as MI5 suggested your only chance is a recovery program like Recuva, unless you used a back up as jonsie said.
