They could try clearing the app cache for Facebook and then rebooting the telephone. A reinstall might do the same thing although it's another option.
You go into System > Apps > Select Facebook and choose the relevant options from there.

Can you expand further for a tech novice like me please? ... I have a Lumia 640 lte phone & am always using Facebook, I don't login or out it's just always there ... am I doing something silly?
