Insufficient storage

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, my Temple Run 2 and another game I have on my S2 has been trying to update but I keep getting a message saying that there is insufficient storage, I have a brand new Samsung micro SDHC card in the phone only this week so can't understand why it's saying insufficient storage, phone says there is still 14mb of storage left on the card.

Any help would be appreciated, at the moment i've just deleted the games off the phone as thought if I can't update them then no point in having them but something isn't right somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Kaz

The easiest way of moving stuff between phone storage and sd card is by connecting phone to your PC. You need a programme called Kies http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP which will provide the connection (with your data cable) to PC, but then you can open file explorer in windows and drag and drop files between phone and sd card.

It's your phone storage that is full. You need to remove any apps you don't use, move pictures and videos to your external sd card and clear the cache from recovery mode. I'm also assuming you mean you have 14Gb of space on your card as 14Mb isn't enough for game data anyway.....

thanks for the quick response, i'm not very technical minded, yes I do mean 14 GB it was a 16gb card I bought, are you able to give me an idiots step by step guide to moving bits to external storage, i've seen clear cache when i've looked at the apps on my phone so can do that.

Thanks
