IMdb App prob

I don't know if anyone uses this great app, but since updating it on my SG2 I'm finding when I insert text into the search bar in portrait mode, it's showing white on a practically white background, where when pre-updated the text showed up as black on a white bar so making it easier to see. The weird part is the search text is black on white in landscape mode. I appreciate its easy to simply turn phone to landscape mode, but has anyone noticed this?? I've tried un-installing, then re installing again but it's hasn't made any difference.

Not noticed on the IMDB app but I did have the same problem with another app some time ago. The app is not optimised for the S2 at a guess and is written for a previous OS version.

i have had that app on loads of.my fones inc tje extremely crap x8.

its nownon my SGS3 via SGS2 and never had any probs on any version. 

I'd suggest deleting it and re installing. i have a similar prob with other apps and found the only was to do this.

thanks for that macblank. I've actually done that and stated so on my initial post and said that it's reinstalled exactly the same-hence the question.

try this... good old fashioned reset.

remove imdb
BACK UP
reset
install imdb

drastic i know..... worth a try tho
