Galaxy S4 Repair Pay Monthly (uninsured)

Anonymous
Not applicable

I dropped my Galaxy S4 today and the top part of my screen smashed slight_frown I visited my local 02 store and was told to call the repair centre who then informed me, to my surprise, that I was uninsured Smiley Mad and that I would have to pay for the repair myself.

I would also have to do it through 02 or Samsung if not the warranty will be void.

Has anyone sent their s4 for repair for a smashed screen ? And how does it work ? If anyone knows how much this would cost me that would be great too as I cant get a straight answer from anybody at 02.

Thanks slight_frown

O2 or Samsung will give you a quote before doing the work.

It would not be insured unless you have taken out a policy for it.

There is a chance it could be covered under a house contents policy or an insurance add on with some bank accounts.

Hi and Welcome,

Have you checked with any House Insurance or Bank Account Insurance to see if accidental damage is covered.

You would need to contact Samsung for them to take a look at it.

Impact damage does sometimes not stop at screen damage but can affect the internals too.

I would go with samsung and not 02 repairs due to the issues past members have reported back on with them.

Heres the link for Samsung.
