Can't find silent after new update

My phone updated to the 5.0.2 version & I have to say not overly impressed with new layout however one thing that is annoying me is I have searched all over my phone & in the quick settings I had an icon for silent, loud, etc but I can't find a button anywhere that allows me to control the volume on the phone anywhere & I like to have it on silent at night & when I go to certain places.

Can anybody help me find the volume control on my Z3?

When you press vol down a bar comes up at the top, just press silent.

You can then set silent for indefinite or a set amount of time.

Cleoriff, it has been driving me insane & I can feel a huge face palm coming on as been so used to the volume settings being in Settings or on the Active Quick Settings that I totally forgot about the actual volume bar & 100 kudo's to Viridis for helping me out, saw his written posts before the pictures but having a feeling of oh no how embarrassing that didn't think to try volume bar the pictures helped.
I have only just noticed that in my original post that I wrote volume bar, it should have said volume settings ( to find silent mode)

Lol @Cleoriff glad I'm not alone usually pretty good at figuring things out however am also lazy as set the volume in personalisation then that's it never touch volume bar again * whispers to Cleoriff* had to look at bars on my phone to find which one was the volume one but shhh don't tell anybody else
