Hi and Welcome to the Community Forum @Anonymous

I would suggest that you first look at the car manual / fitted device manual to see if it will pair with your make of ohone if that info is available in the manuals. Online information on the manufacturers Homepage's should help along with their own 'contact us' link.

This link could help with comparability.

Their are also quite a few YouTube tutorials available.

Ref the phone I would check in its Bluetooth settings to ensure the settings are all set for it being discoverable.

How are you trying to pair?
Usually you would set phone to be discoverable the instigate a search from the vehicle system. This should find the phone and ask you to confirm a code displayed on both systems.
Click ok on both phone and car and that should be it done.

Are you sure phone is set to discoverable?
It's an extra option after bt is turned on.

There is usually a discoverable time-out period too in advanced bluetooth settings.

My friend has a 508 and had a similar issue. Please follow the advice above, turn on your bluetooth on your phone then make it discoverable. Then go to the car system and search. The car system will have a standard code most likely 0000 that you will need to key in on the car system display to pair with your phone. Your phone should then ask you if you want to pair. Click yes or ok and you are done.
