While I'm a big fan of Android I kind of struggle to notice much difference between the versions but I'm by no means a power user of mobile OSes.

I make and receive calls, send and receive texts and read the news, that's about it.

I definitely applaud Google's attempts to separate components so it can get security updates out irrespective of the manufacturer (and operator)

Am really impressed with HMD's approach to security patch roll out though.
