Android 4.4 KIT KAT

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

new version of Android Kitkat should roll out and will be available for couple new phones.

HTC One, S Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, 7 . and couple other. There wont be big changes, but should be faster and main thing save the battery. Does any one know more when we will get it?

Yes, that does make sense, everytime I open Kies there seems to be an update slight_smile

Did you update via Kies or OTA?

ThinkingLOL

@jonsieYou will need to ask @MI5 that question as he took us both through the whole update process

(which was completely different for both phones)

All I know is..we followed instructions to the letter and never had a problem Bouncy

Apologies to others for taking this thread off topic, but I certainly got some answers about Kies which may

be helpful to other technophobes Smiley LOL

We normally recommend a reset. Use the phone first to check if you have any lag or other problems, you may find you don't need to do a reset. It's up to you but personally I find it definitely helps after an update.
