Android 4.4 KIT KAT

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi All,

new version of Android Kitkat should roll out and will be available for couple new phones.

HTC One, S Galaxy S4, Nexus 4, 7 . and couple other. There wont be big changes, but should be faster and main thing save the battery. Does any one know more when we will get it?

Hopefully Chainfire will come up with the solution eventually, just hope my phone doesnt break before that.

If it happens after the solution is found then i will of course use every means available to make sure it looks untouched.

Yeah, Knox is evil and appears to be behaving completely contradictory to how Samsung said it would work.
I think they are gonna have to make some changes themselves too or else they are gonna lose a great many customers who don't just want "stock" all the time....

I agree, the whole reason people buy Android is because we can use different software and have OUR phones the way WE want them and i know most of us get them on contract that are "locked" to the carrier but the off contract phones which people spend hundreds on should be open to whatever the buyer wants to change.

The way Samsung are dealing with this KNOX thing makes it almost like they still own the phone and let us use them for a price we pay for them. Unless they change the way this KNOX works i doubt they will have as many customers in the near future.

In my mind the way they are implementing this restriction is worse than Apple.

I'm just waiting on the LG G2 update and along with some minor performance tweaks, it does offer some other features. Apparently if you are brave enough, you can tweak the camera and replace the sofware to enable 1440p filming. I'm in no hurry for that....however it's nice to know some easter eggs have been left by a Korean bunny.

Talking of which easter eggs coming soon....:manvery-happy:

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
