Hi

My current 02 tariff is sim free for 12 months -

I get 20gb of data - unlimited text and and calls.

I will be travelling to the USA for 2 weeks and wondering what the best option is for data - I don’t want a hugggge bill! I don’t really need calls or text as I’ll be using what’s app to call people.

thanks so much

@CEddie

Purely for data I'd use a local sim.

Otherwise, see travel guide here Guide: Roaming MegaGuide

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@CEddie Data speeds roaming in the USA are incredibly slow and, quite frankly, not worth the bother

Follow @MI5 suggestion and use a local SIM

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
