Phone for deaf/hard of hearing

Anonymous
Not applicable

So anyway, because I am having a problem with my Galaxy S3 Android phone in that nobody can hear voice calls, I am looking for a better phone that is more compatible with my hearing aid,

Ideally I am looking for a Smart phone, but it doesn't necessarily have to be all singing all dancing as long as it can download songs, main thing is being able to hear voice calls with hearing aid.

Si can anyone help?

My old S2 worked perfectly.

I half wish I'd kept it now and not upgraded back in May.

I don't know what sort of hearing aid you have Richard but the ones my husband has have an optional bluetooth that can link to the phone or TV.

I have an NHS Digital hearing aid.

Years ago I had a private Analogue one, but the shop went bust back in the late 80s so I now have to go for hearing tests etc at the Hospital.

Hi Richard, have you always had problems with the S3 or is it only recently? Surely if it worked ok on the S2 then it should work the same or even better on the S3.

Have you taken it to an O2 store for them to check that the phone is working as it should?

I have been to every O2 Store in Sjheffield including Meadowhall and Crystal Peaks, and they all say there is nothing wrong with the phone (well they would say that), the only way to find out for sure is to pay £50 excess on the insurance and send it away (which I have done twice already and I'm only 8 months into the 2 year contract)

Maybe it's time you accepted that there is nothing wrong with the phone then....?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
