The same thing happened to me, I had to clear the basket and start again. I ticked the I have removed the cloud something, which I didn’t do before and it seems to go through. Hopefully I won’t have any issues when I send it off.

Most likely a fault on o2s end. Mine did this last Friday on pre order day. I have 2 contracts for myself and my wife. Got at the same time and same 15 pro max’s. Hers went through fine on the switch up. Mine it wouldn’t accept the IMEI said it wasn’t the registered IMEI number and all I could do was recycle or go to a store to switch up. It eventually accepted the IMEI later in the day. When I went in to o2. They said it had been happening all day and was a known fault on their end.

My delivery clearly isn’t coming today. States on my account “Your delivery date has changed and has been updated below.” but the estimated delivery date hasn’t changed, it still says 20/09. Order status is still processing. Shocking

@jro same, my tariff details have changed to what I signed up to for the 16PM so they’ve definitely sent something. Now I assume just waiting for the store to scan it in, I might just go down at 9AM and ask the question, I did ring them yesterday to ask if they had received any 16’s they said yes but we can’t scan them in till tomorrow, I said that’s fine but can you at least tell me if mine is there, she went away for literally seconds, come back asked for my order number, I had barely said NC and she said no we don’t have it, asked what I ordered and when I said a 16PM she said they’ve been delayed. Clearly couldn’t be bothered

It isn't just o2 this year, it seems to be all the networks and even pre-orders direct from Apple...
o2's fubar last Friday I think has caused so many issues...
