Virgin Media broadband, landline, and TV customers and those with O2 to benefit from money-can’t-buy experiences including exclusive show from global artist, Wizkid

  • Priority will be enhanced with new rewards from Virgin brands, as the app opens to Virgin Media cable customers
  • Afrobeats superstar Wizkid to headline exclusive show to celebrate, open to Priority users only
  • Thousands of prizes worth more than £250,000 to be given away this week, including five-star holidays to Virgin Limited Edition hotels across the world, Virgin Experience Days, Virgin Media Store vouchers and more
  • More information available here

Virgin Media O2 is today opening up Priority to its 5.7 million Virgin Media broadband, TV and landline customers, giving access to once-in-a-lifetime experiences, daily treats and exclusive access to the UK’s hottest events via the popular rewards app from O2.  In addition to being available to even more people, the Priority app will also be enhanced with a series of exciting new offers from Virgin brands.

From today, Virgin Media cable customers can register on the Priority app, which was formally exclusively available for O2 customers, to receive a huge range of benefits at no extra cost – from Priority Tickets, which gives access to tickets for thousands of events and gigs at hundreds of venues across the UK up to 48 hours before general sale, to a whole host of rewards from a range of high street brands including Greggs, Caffè Nero, ODEON and more.

To mark this next step in helping Virgin Media O2 customers enjoy the best of both brands, thousands of prizes, worth more than £250,000, are being given away via the Priority app this week, including five-star holidays at Virgin Media Limited Editions hotels, tickets to an exclusive show from Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, plus thousands of prizes from Virgin brands.

Jeff Dodds, Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media O2, said, “Bringing Priority, one of the UK’s best and most-celebrated loyalty initiatives, to Virgin Media cable customers was the next logical step after Volt combined the best of both brands to supercharge our offering.

“We’re committed to ensuring our customers have access to the most incredible range of perks in the industry, from popular high street brands to early access to the most sought-after tickets in entertainment.

“To celebrate we’ve got thousands of prizes on offer this week alone – including the chance to see one of the hottest names in music perform live – and there is plenty more to come.”

Existing Priority users and O2 and Virgin Media cable customers who download and register on the app today will have the opportunity to enter exclusive prize draws, while receiving a range of ongoing perks and regular offers – from complimentary sausage rolls from Greggs through to Movie Mondays with ODEON.

Exclusive Wizkid show in London

Ahead of his three sold-out shows later this month, Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Wizkid will perform at London’s iconic O2 Forum Kentish Town on Wednesday 24 November. Exclusively for Priority users, 800 lucky winners will each win a pair of tickets to the most-anticipated performance of the year. The prize draw opens Monday 15 November at 8am and closes Friday 19 November at 10am.

Wizkid, said, “It’s been two years since I performed in London! Feels very good to be coming back in a big way! For fans who may have missed out on tickets to the Made in Lagos Tour, I’ll be doing an exclusive gig at O2 Kentish Town Forum. See y’all soon.”

Thousands of prizes worth more than £250,000

In addition, thousands of prizes worth more than £250,000 will be available to win instantly on the Priority app this week, including five-star holidays to Virgin Limited Edition hotels across the world, along with prizes from Virgin Experience Days, Virgin Wines, Caffè Nero, Greggs and ODEON. The ‘Instant Winners’ competition opens Monday 15 November at 10am and closes at 9.59am on Saturday 20 November.

Prizes include:

  • The trip of a lifetime to five-star Virgin Limited Edition hotels across the world, including flights and stay
  • Virgin Experience Days gift cards
  • Virgin Wines cases
  • Virgin Media Store vouchers
  • ODEON Limitless passes
  • Caffè Nero gift vouchers
  • Greggs gift vouchers

The news builds on the recent launch of Volt and Virgin Media O2’s commitment to bring customers even more from its services. In October, the provider announced that Virgin Media and O2 customers can supercharge their services and reap extra rewards by being customers of both brands. Volt offers double the broadband speed, double the mobile data and discounts on connected devices when customers have or choose to take a broadband service from Virgin Media and a Pay Monthly plan from O2.

Priority is exclusive to Virgin Media cable customers and those on O2, helping them do more of the things they love – from daily treats and experiences to early access to the most sought-after tickets in entertainment.

Virgin Media cable customers simply need to download the Priority app via their relevant app store and register using the email address that is linked to their My Virgin Media account. Those on O2 can register using their mobile number.

If you're a Virgin Media customer new to Priority and you're unsure how to login, here's some screenshots showing the login journey you need to follow. If you get any errors when signing in with your VM credentials, we would recommend contacting VM for support as we don't have access to that info.

Virgin Mobile is a MVNO that uses EE and Vodafone so at this point in time nothing to do with o2.
