Hey all,

We wanted to let you know about the brand new Family Tablet Bundle that we’ve launched today.

With the new Family Tablet Bundle, parents can now hand a tablet over to their kids safe in the knowledge that their youngsters will be safe & protected, and so will their money. With over a third of parents considering buying a tablet for their 5 to 13-year-old child in the coming year, the need to ensure that these young users are safe will be on the minds of every mum and dad out there – and that’s where we can help.

With the new Family Tablet Bundle you’ll get:

  • An Alcatel Pixi 8 tablet, favoured by parents for being lightweight and easy to use for kids of all ages
  • A screen protector and rubberised case to protect against bangs and jam-covered fingers
  • In addition, users also get a two-year subscription to Azoomee, a walled-garden children’s app that keeps children safe online and prevents them spending their parents money

Azoomee? Tell me more…
The Azoomee app is designed for primary-school aged children and works on any mobile device. It includes 100s of videos, games, audio books and a digital arts studio which lets you share your creations with pre-approved family and friends. Azoomee is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Douglas and Estelle Lloyd who created their ‘mini version of the internet’ after their seven-year-old daughter Chloe searched for “three kittens” online and very quickly found shocking content. The pair have been working closely with the NSPCC since early 2015. As Azoomee’s strategic partner, the NSPCC has provided advice on the product and its safeguarding policy.

O2 and NSPCC
As some of you know, O2 works closely with the children’s charity, providing free one-on-one expert technical advice to parents via a dedicated new helpline and interactive workshops in communities, workplaces and schools up and down the country. In keeping with both partnerships, for every customer who downloads the subscription part of their bundle, £4 will be donated to the NSPCC.

How much and where do I buy this bundle?
Our Refresh contracts start from £10 up front and £10 per month thereafter for 500MB data, with up to 20GB available for £30 a month. The tablet bundle also includes a two-year subscription to Azoomee worth £79.98.

You can order the bundle right here: https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/tablets/alcatel/family-tablet-bundle/#contractType=paymonthly
