Not really news as such, just more of a celebration... But The O2 turns 15 years old today!
First, a brief history lesson. Originally called the Millennium Dome, the building housed a major exhibition celebrating the beginning of the third millennium. The exhibition was open to the public from 1 January to 31 December 2000 and it is the eighth largest building in the world by usable volume.
Fast forward to 24 June 2007 and what is now called The O2 re-opened to the public as a world-class entertainment venue with Bon Jovi as the first artist to play there. I've been to The O2 myself a few times and it's always an amazing atmosphere and a really cool place to be.
Some fun stats for you all:
What was your first gig at The O2, and what gigs are you most looking forward to in the venue?

Never been to a gig there, but the boat chase along the Thames in The World Is Not Enough was pretty spectacular.
Storm Eunice also had a go at it, unsuccessfully.
Maybe some day 👍
