I have been charged for calls to Germany or Sweden , but I have been told that my contract covers Eu countries 

 

could you explain this to me?

If you are in the UK then calls To EU countries are chargable.

The use of inclusive minutes only applies when roaming in the EU.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@SOHEILA For future reference, if you want to call numbers in Germany and Sweden from the UK, download WhatsApp and make sure the people you're calling have the app too. You can then use the app over a WiFi connection and call, text, or video call them for free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Just to add to the excellent suggestion made by @Bambino, Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom are other options for free calls using WiFi.
