I ordered a new sim yesterday as I am getting a new phone, but unable to use my old phone/sim. This should not have been stopped. I am a vulnerable 81 year old who is waiting for an operation on Thursday and now have no contact with the hospital

That's the big problem when ordering a new sim, your current sim is disconnected straight away

Why on earth O2 deem this necessary for the last 12 months is unfathomable and disgraceful

I'm classed as vulnerable too and luckily I do have a landline and a lanyard if I find myself in difficulties

Obviously no good if you are away from home

There is little you can do than wait for the new phone and sim card

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
or give them a call on 202  or 0344 809 0202
