I have reached the end of my contract, so started a new O2 contract through a third party. Number transferred, bills received, no problems. Or so I thought……

 

I cannot log into my account or use the app because my number is already in use. I have call O2 Customer Support and been told that my email address is in use with Virgin, who I am not a customer of, so I need a new email address. 

I explained that I only use MY email address and they need to resolve it as it is their merger which has caused problems. 

As they merged ages ago why am I getting problems now?

 

Seems ridiculous to me. I have asked for this to be escalated as I’m not happy.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
