So when i purchased the new plan (for my 14 year old), i gave my pac code, but her old number was never transferring over, I when onto 02 chat and they advised they did not receive the PAC code, so we decided to forget about the old number and she would just use the new number given to me. Well everything was ok for a few days and suddenly today she just called 9.18am and said her phone has no service and the number showing she was calling from was her old number, the number 02 said they did not get a pac code for! Well you can imagine having no service for a 14 year old is a big no no 🙂 How long does it normally take for the service to work again, will she need to restart her phone or should it automatically start showing service again within a few hours??

thanks in advance

Number ports can take a couple of days to settle down @ewinton but normally are sorted within 48 hours.

Keep rebooting the phone every so often, and if it is not sorted by Monday it might need customer services to get involved - but call or use social media (the chat team for some reason are not the most highly rated...)

Give O2 a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (Contract) OR 4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG). Best time to call is 8am.

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.
