Data not working in Italy

Hiya

My iPhone 11 is not working when roaming in Italy. It briefly connects to a network and I have full bars but it doesn’t connect to 4G, it just goes to E. Then the bars fall completely flat. This happens wherever I am, even though my uncle is on O2 and has full signal and internet connection. I have tried everything recommended on the O2 website. Can you please help? Thank you.

It's a pity you wasted time by phoning customer services. You can change the APN yourself if you have an iPhone. Settings > Mobile Networks >APN, and tap to change. However, pleased you got it working.😀

I didn't waste time as my APN was exactly what she said it was supposed to be when I had checked. As I mentioned earlier in this forum, I did everything recommended by O2. But yeah, cheers mate 👍🏽
