I want to change my account name from Edward Lowes to David Lowes

Is this a change of ownership?

It isn't possible to change the name on an account unless it's through marriage or by deed poll

If the account is not  in your name you need to wait until the minimum term is paast so there will be no fees and then take an account in your own name (subject to credit checks)

At that point the account holder and yourself can make a joint call to have the number transferred to your own account
