Hi, I'm new here and don't really know the etiqeutte and all that but... I'm going travelling around South America pretty soon and I'm taking my phone along (romantic hey?), i would like to know the costs i'm liable to pay for using said phone.
Unfortunately I can't take my phone anywhere without taking pictures and posting them all over that internet so I can see them when I get home. I can't help logging onto facebook when I'm bored and have time to kill. I also feel a certain need to phone my friends when I've taken too many tequilas, to let them know how great a time I'm having and of course, I'll need to phone my Ma occasionally, tell her to quit her worrying! So I would like to know how much money things like this would cost. Also if I use that internet via wifi, will that cost too? That's quite important, actually!
Anyway, if anyone cares to help I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rob

All costs are here : http://www.o2.co.uk/support/internationalandtravel
Use wifi when posible as it's free.
Cheapest option is to have the phone unlocked and use a local sim card.
Turn voicemail off before you go.

The only thing that won't cost you an enormous amount of money for what you're intending to do will be using WiFi. That's free, but the rest, depending on how long you're planning to travel, will cost you a great deal of money. You should call Customer Services before you go to make sure you will be able to do what you want to do, and what, if any, restrictions you will have.
