text messages not being received

i dont seem to be receing text messasges on my iphoine 6s plus i have good signal but they do not seem to be cooming through 

i have reset my device but this did not make a diffrence  p

@Slimjim13Take your sim out, give it a clean and put it back in, then reboot your phone.

well just did a sim swap and it still not working my data appears to be working fine i can make and receive call texts appear to be sending but if i try to send one to myself it doesnt com through  but i have rceicved texts from o2 with regards to th sim swap

Have you got the right message centre number in your settings?

Texts are always the last to work after a swap or port.
You need to wait at least 24 hours and keep rebooting the phone.
If they don’t work after 24 hours, call customer service.

just checked this and the correct number is there

Then wait a few hours, and keep turning your phone on and off
