It would be great if O2 will start offering some bolt on by which calls from UK to international will be possible more cheaper and bolt on can be 500 minutes 1000 minutes etc

We already know in 3£ bolt on we get 2p call rates to few countries but this is rate cutter and what I meant is minute bundles.

@Popeye, @rky_com If you download WhatsApp or Skype, or have Facebook Messenger you can call anyone anywhere in the world for free over WiFi if you both are using the same app. You can text and video call for free as well. No need for a bolt-on or bundle. No-brainer.

That we all know dear, but not everyone can be contacted on WhatsApp like if I need to contact origin country’s ministery office, they have landline. This is just an example but consider this case when other person is really not contactable via apps but can be contacted on phone call. This is the reason I mentioned just few minutes of bundle.

@rky_com Most, if not probably all US government offices have free 800 numbers. You can call those numbers using Skype for free. I can't vouch for other countries, but @Popeye asked about calls to the US and that's what I was replying to.

That’s nice for US, Rebtel and text now provide free unlimited calls to US without having other party to have those apps.

I am sorry but I asked about India, I could have created a new thread to avoid confusion about US vs non-US
