my bill for my o2 phone has always been around the £33 mark, the contract is coming to an end so thought it would cheaper as wouldnt be paying for the phone, but its exactly the same amount per month. Why would that be?????

I have the same situation, only what is different, my bill went even higher. From 36 to 40 quid. Tried to call them, automated call, that's it.
What is going on?

Once the device is fully paid off you should only be paying for the airtime.

If you are paying more. Contact O2. Best time is 8am.

Are you both on Refresh contracts direct from O2 or via a third party such as CPW?
