cant complete order

hi problems completing an order, anyone else experencing problems with online ordering.trying to order a phone for my wife but when i come to placing the order the system asks me to enter a valid first name i am already an o2 customer so my details are already in the system really frustrating

Online ordering has been giving lots of problems lately. Give them a call but I would advise against using chat to order.

We have had a few people leaving posts on their experiences after ordering online. Some phones have been showing instock , which then not long after switched to out of stock.

Or issues with the couriers not finding the address or non delivery for other reasons.

A suggestion could be to complete your purchase in an O2 store so you walk out with the phone (if it's in stock), or when ordering online / through customer service by phone ~ choose the Click and Collect option where you then collect the handset from an O2 HighStreet store - if you have one that's convenient.

Forget online unless you want a world of grief and go in to an O2 shop to get phone.
If you are not bothered about a refresh tariff you can also go somewhere like Carphonewarehouse.....
