Just got an O2 sim only, I have enabled WiFi calling, but now I'm told that because I bought it from Samsung I can't have WiFi calling. Is this true? Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to go back to Vodafone?

It will work fine, it doesn't have to be from O2

I have just been told by o2 that it does have to be from o2 and running o2 firmware! There certainly isn't an option to use WiFi calling on the phone in the communication settings. I've already been through your link. That is why I'm asking.

Have you called customer service to check WiFi calling is enabled on your account first?
You may then need to wait 24 hours for it to activate.

Yes, that was the first thing I did. That's when they told me it had to be from O2!
