Where can I find out how much VAT will be applied to my monthly contract?

Today I used o2 refresh to upgrade my phone from the iPhoneX to the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
I was previously paying around £75, maybe just under, and that included £12 VAT each month.

For my new phone I will be paying £86 per month, but it doesn’t seem to outline anywhere if this includes VAT or how much VAT will be added, where would I find this?

Vat is included in personal contracts and excluded in business contracts.

The VAT rate is 20%

So as it’s a personal contract, a further 20% shouldn’t be added to the £86?

My contract before upgrading today though was a personal contract and VAT was always added on, and it was never included in the original £60 contract agreed, so I paid around £72. Just really confused!

But that’s reassuring that I shouldn’t pay more than the £86.22. Thank you!

Sorry I should clarify, when looking at my bills I’ve noticed the £12 was added on and not included!

It's only added on to business contracts. Maybe this is what you were on before?

However, as yours is now a personal contract, the price you see, is the price you pay.

Oh that’s strange, I’d never asked them for a business contract, but possibly so! No harm done now anyway!

I was just confused over what happened with my current contracted haha, but that’s reassuring to know. Thank you for your help!
