What does the "Time" column mean for data?

Can anyone tell me what the values in the "Time" column mean for data please? The section is actually headed "GPRS Calls".

I'm looking at my son's pay monthly O2 bill and there is any entry (in GPRS Calls) for every day and on around half of the days the time is "00:00:00".

There are also a lot of days where the time is anywhere between midnight and 3am. My son doesn't have his phone at night, but I do understand that apps could be connecting at any time or the iPhone could download system or app updates.

Sounds like his son is wrong on the phone and it is using wap services.
How you fix this depends on access to the handset but the easiest way would be to text the word Active to 2020 and then by saving the settings that get sent back.
