Hi, I've received a letter informing me I'm beyond my term contract but can't get hold of anyone to discuss it, I don't want to use the opt out text message as that will increase my payments again, I'm hoping to switch to giffgaff but I daren't risk swapping at the moment as I'm not sure if my i phone  is locked to O2, my business telephone line is currently diverted to my mobile,  I had 14 days to reply to this letter. I've no idea what I'm best doing, can anyone advise please?

@Hellypoos

Try these numbers on link to call upgrades or speak to O2 Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

The best number to get through seems to be
0800 587 4005

To unlock phone, check here Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Giff Gaff uses the o2 network so wouldnt matter if your phone is locked to o2 or not your phone will work with the Giff Gaff sim.
