My iPhone 7 is on its last legs and I can upgrade whenever I like for £192 so I’m thinking of doing that. However, due to various reasons, my credit rating isn’t the greatest right now.

So my question is, if I upgrade early, will they do a credit check before I can actually receive a new phone?

O2 do not credit check for upgrades at all so as long as your bills with O2 are in good standing, you’ll be fine.
