I asked for my old phone to be unlocked (chat) first told it would take 24 hours, then told by the end of next day, then told 7 days. I gave up with the chat and rang them, told it would be done straight away. Now over a week and still no email with unlock code

If you are using your contract sim it is classed as a pay monthly phone but only after 12 months.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Ok, several lies later... They now tell me that the phone was originally bought as pay and go, and therefore subject to £15 and 12 months use. When you call 02, you call pay monthly team, your asked security questions about your account. So tell me how you can then buy and pay for a phone for use with your existing contract, which then gets added to a pay & go account belonging to someone else ? £13 unlock on ebay, paypal protected !
