Unbranded operating systems

Hi

Recently I've always bought through Carphone Warehouse because they have always done O2 handsets on operating systems that are not branded O2 (so it either has vanilla Android or the Samsung etc. flavour of Android).  Now that that option is no longer available, is there a way of getting an Android handset on O2 without it having an O2 branded operating system?

Thanks

Chris

Not sure if mobilephonesdirect or buymobiles.net do unbranded versions, but both are 3rd party sellers.
Alternatively you would have to buy the device outright from a retailer (such as Amazon, John Lewis, etc).

@MKChris

O2 customise their firmware but it is no longer branded.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks everyone.  It was indeed uncustomised firmware I was after, that's a shame.  I may look to switch to someone who does sell through CPW.
