After getting a text to say I need a new ESIM to make full use of the network upgrades, I wasted an hour going through the online chat, being bounced back to my phone to do it to make things more difficult, then being told I don't need one...
I'm assuming I do need one hence getting a text, but that wasted hour resulted in getting through to someone who didn't know what to do.
Anyway, can the community staff possibly assist with this?
TIA.

A good number of these text messages regarding SIM changes are Scams.
There are no Community Staff here just customers so we can't look at accounts

It wasn't a scam text, there was no dodgy links or phone numbers to call, just said to contact support or go in store, going into store isn't an option as there are no stores where I usually go. My ESIM is years old so figured it all made sense and then endured an hour trying to get it sorted.
I might have to suck it up and head into the city one day to visit a physical store, chance is it I'll be buying a new phone and have to pop in for one anyway if it doesn't transfer.
Thanks.

Call into a store with Photo ID when passing
The only change that seems to have happened is the provision of 5G Stand Alone
